One of the seven Laudato Si’ goals is ‘ecological economics’. This goal calls on Catholic institutions to divest assets from ecological injustice, making positive impact investments, shifting towards sustainable banking, among other important financial contributors to a sustainable future.
FaithInvest is collaborating with the Laudato Si’ Action Platform to offer a Laudato Si’ Investor Hub to curate a suite of resources and share the stories of groups putting the invitation of Laudato Si’ into action.
This event, co-hosted by FaithInvest in collaboration with AMRI, An Tairseach, the Laudato Si’ Movement, Laudato Si’ Action Platform and USIG JPIC Commission, is an invitation to institutional investors across the world, to engage in a conversation about moving assets in line with Laudato Si’.
We invite you to join us as we discuss and explore:
- Guidance and ideas on investing in line with Laudato Si’, and the new resources and potential support available;
- Positive stories of what different groups are doing locally and globally already, and inspiration for others to do more with what they have;
- Generating a community of practice, who are willing to go further and develop new investment solutions in line with Laudato Si’, with the ongoing support of FaithInvest;
- The momentum for wider changes on climate finance within the investment world
