CSW66 Side Events

The programme of side events and parallel events, or activities organized outside the formal programme of the session of the Commission, provides an excellent opportunity for Member States, UN entities and NGOs to discuss themes of the Commission and other critical gender equality issues.

Side events held by Permanent Missions, Intergovernmental Organizations and UN entities:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CSW66 side events will take place virtually. Each side event organizer is responsible for hosting and choosing their virtual event platform.

Parallel events held by Non-governmental Organizations

Parallel events organized by NGOs will take place virtually. NGO parallel events are coordinated by the NGO Committee on the Status of Women (NGO CSW/NY), which is a group of New York–based women’s NGOs in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council.
