Young Quakers Worldwide and COP26: This online, interactive event brings together a number of young Quakers from around the world to share what is happening in their countries and their hopes for the future. We will hear from Young Quakers in Bolivia, Burundi, the Philippines and the USA, many of whom have direct experience of climate breakdown in their region. Quakers of all ages are welcome to attend. Ahead of COP26, 72 Institutions Make Largest-Ever Faith Divestment Announcement: Five days before the UN climate conference, COP26, in Glasgow, and four days before the G20 Summit in Rome, 72 faith institutions, including 37 from the UK, announce their divestment from fossil fuels in the largest-ever joint divestment announcement by religious organisations.
